Good morning, everyone,
We are trying to upgrade Flowable 7.2 to 8.0 but we are struggling a bit when upgrading to Spring boot 4. We happen to have multiple process definitions with Groovy scripts using Jackson’s JsonNode and related component meaning that when upgrading to Spring boot 4, we will need to modify all of them, creating new versions of the processes, some of which have very high activity.
I was wondering if it’s possible to upgrade Spring boot first while keeping Flowable 7.2 and, once there, upgrade Flowable to 8. The main reason is that the rollback of Spring boot upgrade would be slightly easier if we don’t touch Flowable version, or that’s my feeling anyway.
Am I make any sense? Any experience upgrading to Flowable 8 anybody would like to share? Thanks!
Regards,
Pedro.
