Is it able to change character set to CHARSET=utf8mb4 COLLATE=utf8mb4_unicode_ci

The DBA requires us to use CHARSET=utf8mb4 COLLATE=utf8mb4_unicode_ci, and I found two character sets are used in Flowable:

  1. CHARSET=utf8mb3 COLLATE=utf8_bin
  2. CHARSET=utf8mb4 COLLATE=utf8mb4_0900_ai_ci

any influence if I change the character set to CHARSET=utf8mb4 COLLATE=utf8mb4_unicode_ci?

Hey @wongbingbing,

I don’t think that changing the COLLATE will have any influence. However, I would suggest running some tests before doing it in production and as always back up your database before doing it :wink:.
