Adjustments to the BPMN models of the process definition versions already deployed

Dear Flowable Experts,

We would like to extend the BPMN models of the versions of the process definitions already deployed (add 2 new variables to some of the flow elements).

During our investigation, we could only find the possibility to update an existing process definition with a new deployment that results in a new process definition version being created. What’s more, the BPMN models of the ones already deployed remain intact.

Does Flowable have a possibility to make adjustments to the BPMN models of the process definitions already deployed without creation of the new process definition version?

Yes, you can migrate previous versions to the latest one.
If you are using 6.8 or lower you can use the admin app, for 7.0 you’d need to use the REST API.
