This question came up as I was tracing a problem encountered concerning the exporting process of flowable-modeler to BPMN 2.0 XML. When exporting a process containing a pool, targetNamespace defaults to “http://flowable.org/test” within the XML, despite already having a set value in the modeler.
During my tracing, there is an if statement within the convertToBpmnModel method in BpmnJsonConverter that prevents the setting of certain attributes (including targetNamespace) if a non-empty pool exists within the model. I would appreciate if someone could explain the rationale behind this.
