I have an issue when i try to upload a file (pdf,png,jpg,word…) from the upload tool in a form. The field still empty when i upload a file. Please can you help me to solve this issue.

I am using 6.2.0 version of flowable-modeler/task and it works! Can you plz elaborate like how are you saying that field is still empty? Can you share something else that can help understand the problem in more detail.

You must be getting some kind of error in the console if there is some error with the API. Can you see if there is any error in the browser console or backend logs? Also can you post the process diagram? Any error or anything which can help?

Hi,
Looking at this particular line of the error, it looks like there is some problem either with creating a folder or some directory issue or maybe permission issue(you are using windows so i am not sure but looks like directory path is wrong, it should be something like C:\something\some_other_thing since in codebase, error message used file.getAbsolutePath() in the error message and by the error shown, this path is a unix style path).
What you can try is, inside the flowable-app.properties in the flowable-task app, you can try to set this property “contentstorage.fs.rootFolder” to some path in windows style path and see if it works.

Then it might be a permissions issue i.e. you do not have permission to write content in that directory. You can google about how to give write permission to a particular directory and see if it works.

I just change the default "data"path by the full path( /opt/tomcat/bin/data) of the “contentstorage.fs.rootFolder” .
