I’m a developer using Flowable Engine in enterprise projects and am very interested in your upcoming product roadmap—especially regarding major changes for the workflow engine, AI integration, microservices support, and updates for Java/Spring Boot compatibility.
Could you please share any public roadmap or plan for the next major version (such as 7.x or 8.0) and highlight any anticipated key features?

Have you seen Flowable 7.2.0 release?
In there we announced that the next major version Flowable 8 will be based on Spring 7, Spring Boot 4 and use Jackson 3.
What kind of AI Integration / microservices support are you interested in?

We use flowable in onboarding,scoring customer, and risk proccesing with Springboot & Flowable engine.
@huuhoait from an AI integration point of view we have something in our Enterprise offering. You can have a look at:
As for microservices, you’ll need to share what you are missing there. You can already embed Flowable in your own application, you can invoke REST APIs, you can orchestrate different systems, etc.
