Regarding mysql and postgresql databases, is one recommended over the other for the purposes of a flowable install?

The core team don’t recommend one over the other, but others may offer opinions. If it’s for anything at the extreme end of processing, then you’d need to give a bit more context for anyone to be able to recommend one over the other for technical reasons.
