New REST task feature - in Eclipse Designer

Hi,

I’ve seen that in the 6.1.0 release this new and interesting feature has been added:

New REST task feature thanks to Harsha. With the new REST task it becomes trivial to do REST calls from a Flowable process instance. There’s also support in the Flowable Modeler for REST tasks.

Is this feature also available for the Eclipse plugin, is it planned to be?

The site http://flowable.org/designer/update/ has no updates for 6.1.0.

We don’t currently have plans to do this. It would be a great feature if someone would take it on and do it.

I did start with Flowable Designer changes for HTTP task, But did not complete it. I will try to push to my fork when I get some time.
