We observed the Flowable modeler does not preserve the asynchronous and exclusive settings for parallel gateways. The modeler will clear these flags and they will not be set when exporting the model again.
That is a bug that is in 6.5.0. It’s fixed on the current master version and will be part of the upcoming release.
