# Previliges with API Flowable Rest and basic authentification

Hello,  
i have a problem, when i give the API REST prevliges to a specific group i can not authenticate with Basic authentification it gives me a 403 error response, but when i do whit API Flowable UI it works

Not sure I understand.  
What are you doing to give REST API privileges?  
I assume you are overloading the SecurityConfiguration, can you show what you are doing?
