Hi @m.farahat

Often the functionality associated with finding a user’s manager is provided via a [directory server](https://forum.flowable.org/t/configuring-user-task-based-on-parameter-from-task/3278/6?u=robinyo)

Another approach would be to provide a RESTful service that returns a user’s manager. You could try out this approach using [json-server](https://github.com/typicode/json-server) and Flowable’s [Http Task](https://www.flowable.org/docs/userguide/index.html#bpmnHttpTask).

You can send an email using Flowable’s [Email Task](https://www.flowable.org/docs/userguide/index.html#bpmnEmailTask).

Cheers
Rob
