# How to use swimlanes in the modeler app

Hi,  
I cannot find the documentation on how to use swimlanes with the open source modeler app. As soon as I start introducing a swimlanes where I put my tasks, there is many validation errors and the app cannot be published anymore.  
where can I find support on this subject?
