# How to change global default values for user tasks?

Hello!

I looking for a piece of information regarding setting User Tasks default values globally. One of the fields which interested me is the different field `priority` default value.

As an example currently when starting a case with a human task with it, field `priority` is defaulted to ‘50’. Which is the recommended way to modify default values for all Tasks?

One possibility is to

and change value when definition is parsed into memory.

To recommend something more suitable I need more info about usecase.
