# Flowable UI and Rest Open source

Hi,

I am trying out flowable open source docker for my application. I understand there are differences in ui/ux experience while using enterprise vs open source. Currently I am exploring it for the lower environments and planning on extending to production environments too.

However I would like to understand more on the open source features:

a) can we use flowable open source without the developer or trial license. Any restrictions on the modellers or deployments or number of users?

b) can we integrate flowable open source for prod environments?

Hi @Nisha ,

I am also using flowable in my productive environment.

a. while using open source there is no extra license involved but in the newer flowable open source version do not have a UI so no modeling is possible in flowable-ui

b. I have integrated flowable to my productive environment. but can you elabrate more on where do you like to integrate it.
