# Custom Component

Is it possible to add custom component to Flowable Open Source like the stated on the link below?

Yes it is.  
there are changes needed on the modeler side (I would recommend to fork or overwrite modeler configuration files)  
and changes on the flowable-task app (adding classes to the classpath, or beans… depends on the component).
